Wow, what a beautifully written in-depth article about ego! Fucking blew my mind with your analysis, understanding and ability to explain what is really going on for many people in regards their behaviour because of their unbalanced brain and sub-conscious thought patterns.
For me ultimately the most important aspect of this work is learning to love yourself unconditionally. A knowing that at its core is based on self-belief wrapped in self-esteem, self-acceptance and self-confidence, that is so strong and tangible, that you are prepared to die for what you believe in. You can feel fear, but you do not let it control or influence you like it once did!
This is a difficult learning process as we have to create new physical neural pathways in the brain between the reptilian (unconscious ego), mammalian (sub-conscious memories and trauma) and conscious parts of the brain.
Unbalanced brains usually have one hemisphere that is more dominant than the other creating a schism in the mind. Left brain dominant brains (master aspects) exhibit the qualities of Atheism, Solipsism, Scientism, Moral Relativism, Social Darwinism, Eugenics and Totalitarianism. Right brained dominant brains (slave aspects) exhibit the qualities of Religion, Unworthiness, Self-Loathing, Addiction, Order-Follower and Willing Slave, and I believe most people have a mixture of both. Well, I certainly did!
This schism, is what I believe creates cognitive dissonance, and because our brains are unbalanced and this makes it very difficult to change our viewpoint because we are deliberately ignoring reality sub-consciously, and we aren’t even aware we are doing it.
Bringing these three parts of the brain into alignment, brings about better balance between the two hemispheres of the brain in terms of logic and intuition which I believe represents real intelligence and our ontological connection to Universe/Creator/God.
The Universe provides and guides, and unbalanced minds have a much more difficult experience in this matterium because they have not realised this biggest issue in their lives is not outside of them, but is actually themselves.
A balance between our thoughts, feelings and actions. If we feel strongly enough about our thoughts we will act appropriately, even if it means our death.
Another way of looking at it is the left brain represents the male energy of logic and the self-defence principle, and the right brain represent the female energy of emotion/intuition and do no harm principle. When you merge these aspects into a more balanced mind the result you get is an individual that will “Do No harm, and Take No Shit”
The work that you do Nickita is helping raise the consciousness of the planet. You are helping lead the charge to a better co-created reality for yourself and others on Earth.
Our planet and solar system are currently ascending in a 26,000 year Sinusoidal orbit around our Milky Way galaxy and we have pasted M9 point, which means the earth is being bathed in the extra energies from galactic centre which is the main driving force for the growing consciousness of the planet and Nothing Can Stop What Is Happening.
We are moving into a Golden Age, it just might get a little rough as the old paradigm dies and the new paradigm and way of thinking and being manifest in our reality. Thank you for all that you do and inspiring me to put pen to paper in reply to your article!
Not sure if you are aware, while I was living in Australia I came across a woman called Nicole running a group called Birth Into Being which I believe has a similar outlook and understanding to yourself.
I just looked at their website https://www.birthintobeing.com/ and am amazed at how much it has grown and matured since I first connected over 10 years ago.
"Here's a summary of the article "Why Understanding the Ego is the Key to True Healing":
Key Points:
Ego and Healing: The article argues that most people are unaware of how the ego influences their thoughts, reactions, and emotional struggles, which can hinder true healing. Traditional therapy often only addresses surface-level issues without tackling the ego's dominance.
Victim-Perpetrator Model: Traditional therapeutic approaches might reinforce a narrative where individuals see themselves as victims or perpetrators, thus perpetuating blame and ego-based identity. This can keep individuals stuck in their ego's narrative.
Ego vs. True Self: Ego work involves questioning the very notion of self, moving from fixing personal flaws to seeing through the illusion of self. This is contrasted with conventional self-help which focuses on changing behaviours or self-improvement.
Practical Example: In traditional therapy, someone might understand their behaviours from past trauma but remain identified with that trauma. Ego work would help them recognize they are not their past experiences but something beyond them.
Ego in Daily Life: The ego manifests in daily activities like social media use for validation, people-pleasing or controlling behaviours, emotional triggers, and the pursuit of external achievements for happiness.
Breaking the Cycle: The article suggests methods like observing one's thoughts, questioning one's reactions, and recognizing emotional triggers as signs of ego activity. It encourages shifting focus from external validation to internal peace.
Childhood and Ego Development: The ego forms as a survival strategy in childhood, adapting to receive love or avoid rejection. These patterns continue into adulthood, often as maladaptive behaviours unless consciously addressed.
Awakening: True healing or awakening involves recognizing the ego for what it is, not fighting it but seeing through its illusions to the true self, which is described as an ever-present, peaceful awareness.
Compassion for Ego: The article ends by suggesting that the ego should be met with compassion, acknowledging its protective intent while gently moving beyond its limitations towards true self-realization.
Conclusion: The piece encourages a shift from ego-driven identity to an awakened state where one lives more from the true self, which is inherently peaceful, whole, and free from the need for external validation or control.
